Introducing the General Coordinator of the 2nd Peruvian Geotechnical Biennial

We are pleased to officially introduce Eng. Sandra Melisa Ramírez, President of the Engineering Geology Chapter – Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú (CIP Lima), as the General Coordinator of the 2nd Peruvian Biennial in Geotechnics.

Eng. Sandra Melisa Ramírez is a geologist from the San Marcos National University of Peru, with over 20 years of experience in the mining sector. She has a strong background in environmental management, community relations, and socio-environmental conflict resolution. Her professional profile is complemented by an international Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and further specialisations in water resources and interculturality.

Her leadership represents a strategic bridge between the professional, academic, and institutional sectors, strengthening the technical foundation and national projection of the Biennial.
