🌎✨ Successful Workshop for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science

We are proud to share the success of “Earth Explorers”, a workshop held on February 11 at the Piura National University, dedicated to girls aged 8–14.

Through dynamic and interactive geoscience activities, our WEG Peru team encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and greater awareness of the important role women play in science. Seeing so many young girls engaged and excited about Earth sciences was truly inspiring.

Initiatives like this strengthen our commitment to science education, gender equity, and building the next generation of geoscientists.
