The Peruvian Geotechnical Biennial
A national platform for advancing engineering geology and geotechnics in Peru
The Peruvian Geotechnical Biennial is a national initiative led by the Peruvian National Group of the International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG Peru). It is held every two years and aims to promote geotechnical knowledge, collaboration, and innovation to support sustainable development and disaster risk reduction in Peru and across Latin America.
The Biennial is open to students, professionals, academics, and institutions interested in geotechnical practice and education. It serves as a dynamic space for sharing cutting-edge developments, fostering collaboration between sectors, and building technical capacity in geotechnics, engineering geology, and related fields.
🎯 Purpose and Vision
The Biennial seeks to:
Promote best practices in geotechnical and engineering geology.
Provide a platform for dialogue between academia, government, and industry.
