“Peruvian Women in Geosciences” forums

Since 2021, our community has been organizing the Annual Forums “Peruvian Women in Geosciences” firts with the support of IAPG Peru as a local initiative and now this evolved into a flagship activity of WEG Peru, where we bring together voices, experiences, and perspectives of women across the geosciences.

🎯 Our Purpose

• Give visibility to the contributions of Peruvian women in geosciences.

• Foster intergenerational dialogue and mentorship.

• Inspire and empowering young students and early-career professionals to pursue geoscience pathways.

• Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion across the geosciences, engineering and related fields

From now on, these annual events will be organized by WEG Peru as part of our commitment to equity and inclusion in geosciences, in collaboration with global networks such as WIMS, IAEG–COGE, and other partner organizations.
