WEG Peru
Empowering equity and inclusion in the geosciences
WEG Perú is the national group of the IAEG Women in Engineering Geology (WEG) Committee and also serves as our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Commission. It is part of a global effort by the International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG) to promote the participation and visibility of women and underrepresented groups in the geosciences.
Established in 2023 through collaboration between IAEG Perú and IAPG Perú, WEG Perú has since evolved into a recognized national node of the IAEG WEG Committee and a reference point for EDI efforts in Latin America.
