Geoethics

The Committee seeks to create a space for professionals, researchers, educators, and students to discuss the ethical dimensions of geoscience research, education, and professional practice. It encourages consideration of environmental, social, cultural, and intergenerational responsibilities in decision-making related to natural hazards, infrastructure, geological resources, and territorial development.
