ABGE

Founded in 1968, the Brazilian Association for Engineering and Environmental Geology (ABGE) is a non-profit promoting technical excellence in geotechnics and environmental planning. As the official national chapter for the International Association for Engineering Geology (IAEG), it connects over 1,000 professionals and supports infrastructure safety through journals, youth outreach, and national congresses.

IUGS - COGE

The IUGS Commission on Geoscience Education is a global committee under the International Union of Geological Sciences that helps countries improve Earth science education, public outreach, and technology transfer. Established formally in 2004, it supports educators, shares teaching tools, and addresses worldwide challenges like climate change and resource sustainability.
