The International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG) core values and aims focus on advancing the science of engineering geology and its environmental applications. They include:

2nd Peruvian Biennial on Geotechnics

A national platform for advancing engineering geology and geotechnics in Peru The Peruvian Geotechnical Biennial is a biennial initiative led by IAEG Peru that promotes knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation in geotechnics and engineering geology. It brings together students, professionals, academics, industry and institutions to share advances, strengthen technical capacity, and support sustainable development and disaster risk reduction in Peru and Latin America. The Biennial provides a platform for dialogue, professional development, and collaboration across sectors, with a strong commitment to encouraging the participation of young professionals and promoting inclusive engagement in the geoscience community.
